Our Story
The deli on the hill was born in lockdown in 2020 when I realised the need for an independent deli on the high street. With a passion for food and a love for interior and attention to detail, I started to look for the perfect location. I found the "Prestatyn Motor Shop" in the July and by August we had stripped it back to the bare bones. I wanted to create a shop that not only sold delicious food but also looked inviting.
We worked hard to get the shop open before Christmas which was at times a real struggle considering lockdown. It was important to me that we provided a range of both local artisan products and authentic continental cuisine. We wanted to show case the best of Welsh products as well as introducing new flavours from around the world. We also wanted to be considerate when it came to sustainability, using only recyclable products and reducing our plastic use and waste as much as possible, something we strive to improve every day.
On November 18th we opened with a fantastic team ready to serve our lovely customers. Our mission is to make every customer feel valued whether they come into the shop, drink in our coffee shop or order online. Our care and attention to details makes us stand out from the crowd.
